Scientific societies contribute to the promotion of knowledge and awareness about liver diseases in the medical community and the general public, and can also improve the treatment and management of these diseases. The Iranian Society for the Study of Liver Diseases provides an opportunity for physicians, researchers, and medical students to benefit from the experiences and knowledge of experts in this field and help advance knowledge and research in this area. Additionally, the society can serve as a bridge between patients and physicians, conveying their problems and needs to the medical community. Gastroenterologists, hepatologists, internal medicine specialists, virologists, infectious disease specialists, general practitioners, laboratory scientists, radiologists, pathologists, immunologists, and nurses are among the members of this society.
